Bathurst. The Mountain.

If you haven’t heard the good news this week – listen in!

I have finally been able to announce that I will be competing in the prestigious Bathurst 12 Hour on the first weekend of February 2018 with M-Motorsport in the KTM X-BOW GT4.

Competing at Bathurst has always been a major goal of mine and to be debuting in the 12 hour race is something very special. It is crazy to think that even though I am Australian, I have never raced at our most famous track but as I have been based in Europe the past 2 years the opportunity just hasn’t risen until now.

Bathurst in itself is always one massive challenge for the drivers, so it will be a steep learning curve but going into the race with a car that I have experience with will make the transition much smoother. So the preparation for February has already begun! As I have spoken about before, I always travel to the Netherlands and try to get a few sessions at Adrenaline Control on their simulator before each race. As I am heading back home to Aus for Christmas and will stay home until Bathurst, we have already started the sim prep over here for the race. It has been quite successful and as long as I transfer everything over in reality, we will be in for a good race!

I will be driving with teammates Tim Macrow, David Crampton and team boss of M-Motorsport Justin McMillan. From the dominance shown at Bathurst this year by the KTM until the unfortunate retirement, I am more than confident that we will be competitive within the GT4 category and will be able to come away from the weekend with some silverware ;)

There are many people that I need to thank for making this opportunity possible which include KTM, Justin McMillan and of course my number 1 supporter; Dad.

I am super excited to be a part of this event and will be working very hard to give it my all!
